ABOUT

The Champ-Dollon Prison, located in Geneva, is one of Switzerland’s largest and more notorious prisons. Originally designed as a short-term pretrial detention centre, Champ-Dollon is now one of the country's most widely criticised prisons due to its poor conditions, overcrowding, and accusations of mistreatment. The prison has at times been used to hold immigration detainees.
